Earn Up to $2000 Per Month Writing for Medium

Have you heard of Medium? It's an online publishing platform that publishes articles. It was developed by Evan Williams and launched in August 2012. Evan Williams also founded several other Internet companies. He was previously chairman and CEO of Twitter. He also founded Blogger. Medium is owned by A Medium Corporation and was founded by Evan Williams.
Medium is an example of social journalism and has a collection of amateur and professional people and publications, or exclusive blogs or publishers on Medium. It is mostly regarded as a blog host.
Medium encourages users to create posts longer than the 140 character limit of Twitter. According to wikipedia.org, when it launched in 2012, Williams stated, "There's been less progress toward raising the quality of what's produced."
Medium is definitely a platform for anyone who wants to write and share something important. You can write about anything you want at Medium. All you have to do is make it interesting enough!
Can You Earn Money Writing for Medium?
Yes. It is possible to earn money but to enhance your experience of earning money with Medium they say you should sign up for their Medium's Partner Program. Of course, you don't have to do this and you can still earn money but it may not be a great amount. You can then publish anything that you have already written on your blog.
Here is what you should do if you want to earn money writing for Medium.
1. Sign up to Medium's Partner Program which is $5 per month. Now, I don't usually like to pay to write on any platform but because Medium is so popular, I gave it a try and I am just starting to earn a bit of money from it. You can choose not to write there without joining Medium's Partner Program and still earn money from what I have gathered but I have heard it's possible to earn a generous amount when you are in the program. The reason for this is because each person in the program can then read all articles on Medium, therefore, they are unlocked. If you are not in the program you only get to read three Medium articles per month. This means that everyone in the program can read articles as much as they want and when this happens you will earn money. Claps for an article will now help it to be seen by others.

Make all your articles eligible to earn money when you go to publish on Medium. Read more about writers who have earned money on Medium. All you have to do is google the topic of earning on Medium and you will find a lot out about it. Here is one article from someone who writes there. Here is another article on how one person wrote an article and earned at least $843.
2. Read other articles from writers who are also in Medium's Partner Program and give them claps and then in return, you will gain claps on your own articles. Getting as many claps as you can is what will now help others see your work. Sometimes, people will love an article and just give you claps but even if they don't you will still earn money from them reading it.
3. Follow other writers so you can gain your own followers.
4. Leave comments on articles you enjoyed reading.
5. On Medium, you can highlight sentences in articles you have read and your name will be placed alongside it where other writers will see it. Hopefully, they will see your name and want to follow you or read your work.
6. Write regularly on Medium making sure you receive as many views as you can possibly get. Claps used to be the only way you could earn money with Medium but now pageviews from Medium members will earn you money. This was recently changed on 28th October 2019. So if a paying member from Medium reads any of your articles you will make money. The longer the person stays on your page the more money you will earn.
7. Join other publications on Medium and write for them but follow them first and read articles to get the gist of what gets published there. One of the publications I write for is The Writing Cooperative and Ascent and also Writers Guild where articles are shared on writing tips and other topics. There are other publications that belong to Medium where you can send in your ideas.
8. Publish all your previously published articles from your blog or website on Medium. This will gain you more views and help you earn money.
9. Start your niche publication on Medium. You can start your own publication like I have done and earn money from it. You can even ask other writers to submit to your publication.
