12 Steps in Setting Up a Blog

Do you want to learn through a few simple steps on how to set up your own new Blog?

Do you know how to set up a Blog?

Someone asked me this question, so I thought I would talk about it and list a few steps to help guide anyone wanting to get a Blog up and running.

If you don't know how to set up a Blog, then here are 12 steps that will help you:

Go to a blogging website and register. One blogging site is called blogger.com that you can use. You can even have a blog with Tumblr.com
Search Google for more blogs if you want. There are plenty that can be found.
Next step is to register on the home page.
Name your blog in the setup settings for your blog. There will be other things to fill in about your blog on this page.
Now set up the design of your blog and make it look great.
Then you should set up an Adsense account at adsense.com This is for your adverts on your blog, which will earn you money through your blog when you write articles.
Write your first article and make sure it is over 150 words.
Next, go to the setup menu on your blog and click the Earnings tab and there you can add your Adsense account to your blog.
Now you have to add some adverts to your blog, so click the Layout tab and click on an Add Gadget and in the column box that appears, click Adsense and ok it. Your blog will now have Adsense adverts on it.
Make sure you are, also, with a few social media sites like Twitter and Linkedin. Join all of them if you want.
Then set up your profile on each one. Then you can share your blog posts there for everyone to read.
You can even have a Facebook page that you can set up, telling everyone you are a blogger or a Writer. This is a 'Like' page where everybody can like it and you can share all your posts from your Blog with your friends. This will help you get more visitors to your blog helping you to earn more money.
